Wednesday Giveaway!

Welcome to the first Three Days Three Ways Giveaway! I'm grateful to our first giveaway sponsor: Devoucoux. True story: I started riding in Devoucoux saddles when I was riding with Adrienne Iorio at Apple Knoll Farm outside of Boston. I fell in love with them right away because not only are they comfortable, they're beautiful. Riders like Sharon White and Phillip Dutton ride in Devoucoux saddles and use their products. Like these amazing hind cross-country boots that match the quality and artisanship of all Devoucoux products! They're leather with the prettiest buckles and a very functional rubber lining (think ease of cleaning!). I wanted to start things off with a bang so these are just the right note.

To win: Leave a comment below and visit their site www.devoucoux.com

Update: I wish I could give Devoucoux boots to everyone who left comments, there were so many worthy recipients! The name that came out of my hat, however, was Maggie. Please email threedaysthreewaysblog@gmail.com and we'll arrange to get you your beautiful boots. Congratulations to you and your OTTB. You will look divine at your first event this summer! Thanks to Devoucoux for such exquisite products and for being so generous in this giveaway.

I'm currently in the process of getting my mare ready for our first BN horse trial (a first for both her and me!) this summer. There's still LOTS of stuff left on the shopping list before the day comes, including a set of hind boots. Needless to say, as a poor graduate student, the fear of stretching my shoestring to the breaking point grows with every item I have to add to the list! I'm hoping I win these so I can put the money toward replacing my failing camera that's held together by sundry bits of duct tape and baling wire. That way I can take home some pictures to remember the occasion, not just a first place ribbon! ;-)

  9. Wow! How awesome that your starting off with such a great gift. My horse rips through all of his hind boots because he hits his hind legs together! I can't seem to find anything that will last. I'm thinking leather Devoucoux boots just might be the right thing to keep him from going lame! haha :)

  12. I believe I am a Devoucoux snob even though I don't own anything by them yet. When researching about cross country saddles I discovered them and thought they were the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. Then last year at Rebecca Farms I found the dealer and got to sit in one... oooooooooh lala! Too bad for me they cost what they're worth. The boots look amazing.

  15. I "visited" these boots at Rolex last year almost every day because they are so georgeous and well designed! At the time, I didn't have a horse of my own, but have since adopted an OTTB who is super athletic and would REALLY appreciate wearing a lovely pair of these boots for her first show season! She is, by far, the most special horse I have ever owned and I want to keep her legs safe and supported as she learns her new sport! I am a nursing student and have three part time jobs to support my education and horse, so the budget wouldn't normally allow me to purchase these boots- but they would be cared for and appreciated EVERY day! Not to mention I would advertise for Devoucoux every chance I get around the barn and at shows! Great blog too- thanks for the opportunity to win these!

  16. Devoucoux leather is amazing. I had the pleasure of riding in one of their saddles and every since I have been ruined, (I have been saving up for one every since!!) No other saddle will do for cross country. The security matched with comfort, unbelievable. I can only imagine how great these boots would be for my horse! My new event horse, Chevy, needs a pair of cross country boots!!!

My horse Fire Dancer, a rescue mare from the Horse Protection Society of North Carolina, would love these!!!
